I did an interview with House of Harper last week about starting Biscuit, work-life balance, and what I have learned since starting my blog and career eight years ago. So much as changed in my life and my work since I stopped blogging two years ago, and while I am glad to be posting on here again occasionally, it was nice to sit down and really dive in like I used to. For those of you who have been reading for awhile, hopefully it will be a fun update!
I still haven’t posted a Detailing the Design of our “library”- which is what we call the room pictured above from our House Beautiful shoot. In my original post with the Before & After of the space I talked about how this room was a modern 1960s addition to the original traditional 1920s home, and the way our architect, Bill Curtis, worked it back into the overall style of the house made the space one of my favorite parts of our renovation.
Speaking of our living room- it’s almost time for me to start pulling out our Christmas decorations! Our living room never looks better than when donning its Christmas finery. I really need to figure out how to carry some of that magic into the room year round.
With the Holidays approaching, I am in full on nesting mode. Our house has been pretty much “done” since we moved in two years ago, and besides my little snafu with the guest bedroom, I have kept my near-constant itch to redecorate in check.
