One year ago today we opened the doors to Biscuit. There is so much I could say about this past year, I don’t really know where to start.
I am so lucky to have the team around me that I have, Maddie has been with us from the beginning and I could not have made it through the year without her. Caroline started in February, and looking back I think her contribution is what has allowed us to grow like we have. I am so proud of my friend Isabel, and the prints we have created together. I also can’t wait to introduce you to some of the new members of the team who have come on recently, I cannot believe how much we have grown in a year- and on that note we will have a huge announcement soon.
But today, we are celebrating everything we have accomplished so far. Things like our first print spread in HGTV magazine last December, my home tour in Matchbook, being named House Beautiful’s Next Wave, and our Southern Living feature. Things like two seasons of bedding inspired by so many of the women who have inspired me, and being named one of Houston’s Best by The Houston Chronicle. And to do that, we are giving all of you- our supporters who have made this all possible, 20% off everything in store online through the end of the month.
Thank you all for everything from the bottom of my heart, and I hope to make y’all proud in year two.

Thank you for making our dreams come true by being able to work with great friends to design super beautiful American made textiles & home goods! If I think about where we were only a year ago, my mind is blown. We have truly come so far together & we have Bailey to thank for that.
Bailey, you are an amazingly strong & determined woman who sets her mind to something and makes it happen. That is what I have always loved about you, that you dream big. It is so inspiring to have that force in my life & I am so thankful to have you as a friend and partner. I have so much admiration for women who are mothers & who can balance family and work, and you truly do both fully. You have so much love you give & I know you will be an incredible role model to your beautiful children.

Bailey, I absolutely love your blog and Biscuit! I have been a faithful reader for a long time but just have yet to comment.
